MPSSS with its partners
support plays a major role in Good governance. The main aim is to promote and
sustain holistic and integrated human development. The central focus is to see
how the government enables, simplifies and authorises its people, regardless of
differences of caste, creed, class, and political ideology and social origin to
think, and take certain decisions which will be in their best interest, and
which will enable them to lead a clean, decent, happy, and autonomous
existence. Good governance has 6 major characteristics. They are,

In our working areas,
the community members take part actively in all the Gram Sabah meeting and
demand for their rights to be met. There is an increased number of men, women,
children and elderly women taking part in all the meetings. In the last one
year alone, in all the 315 villages, total 672 Gram Sabhas took place. In this,
50908 participants were there. During these meetings, 6275 applications were
submitted for various needs. The people are more aware on the importance of being
part of village level panchayat and its activities.
