MPSSS, being the
Madhya Pradesh Regional Forum has the mandate to offer accompaniment and
capacity building support to 9 Diocesan partners in Madhya Pradesh for
i) Organizational development and
(ii Pprogramme quality and development
The project Organizational development support to nine partners funded
by Caritas India works on Increase the programmatic and organizational
efficiency of Partners organizations by holding trainings, discussions and
visiting the partners.
The following are the achievements of ‘Organizational and Programme Development Support for the 9 DSSSs of Madhya Pradesh region’
Ø Regional
Strategic Plan of MPSSS was formulated in consultation with the partner
directors for the period 2020-2025
Ø Madhya
Pradesh regional level mapping and profiling of Religious congregations based
NGOs was completed through the project.
Ø Catholic
Social Teachings and Key Strategic Pillars orientation workshop conducted for
three Dioceses namely Indore, Jhabua and Ujjain in the region.
Ø State
level and Diocese level Lenten Campaigns were launched and the follow-up
activities were conducted throughout the state of Madhya Pradesh
Ø DISHA
meeting for all the partner directors and Field level coordinators meeting of
all the partner organizations were regularized in the region.
Ø In view of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and its aftermath, relief operations were organized in the entire region through the partner organizations.
MPSSS also initiated the formation of Partner level networks such as Diocesan Level Children Parliaments and the Diocesan Level Small Holder Farmers Consortiums. Till date the Organization in partnership with the Partners have established Diocesan Level Children Parliaments at Bhopal, Indore, Khandwa, Saugor and Ujjain Dioceses. The regular follow-up meetings of these parliament members are in progress periodically. These consortiums would further inculcate the sense of responsibility and civic sense in the minds of these children.
Similarly, in order to strengthen the Small Holder Farmers in the region, MPSSS in partnership with the partner organizations have established the Diocesan Level Small Holder Farmers consortiums at Indore, Jhabua, Saugor and Ujjain dioceses in Madhya Pradesh state. Regular capacity building sessions are being conducted periodically for enhancing the lives of these farmers.
